Oracle introduces new agents to simplify Cloud to On-premise integration

We always knew that Oracle is going to make it easy for customers to use both Cloud and On-Premise application together (Hybrid model). Simple reason being , not all the applications can be built on cloud and not all the next gen features available on cloud can be built in on-premise applications.

Oracle has quoted in its official blog about the new ‘Agents’ feature released in the Integration Cloud Service (ICS).  This Service eliminates common security and complexity issues previously associated with integrating on-premises applications from outside the firewall.

Many new adapters have been included in Integration Cloud Service to allow for direct connection to the Agent which then communicates to ICS, some of the key ones include Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Siebel Customer Relationship Management, SAP, Oracle Database, and the SOAP technology adapter.

Now its much easier to integrate Oracle Fusion Applications, Taleo, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud etc.. with on-premise applications. This is the need of the hour.
